21st CENTURY GLOBALISATION

Read the following Scenario and prepare a Report with the guidelines provided.

Scenario: You are hired as a management consultant for a chosen multinational organization (you may choose any one from the Fortune 500 list or an organization located in your home country or the company you work for). As a consultant, you are assigned to study the impact of globalization and make interventions addressing the following:

1.Evaluate how drivers of globalization in the 21st century has affected your organization and the people of your country. [30 Marks]

  1. Assess the impact of “Global Market Convergence” on the business of XYZ. [10 Marks]
  2. Evaluate the effect of “Cost Advantages” on any one of XYZ’s product/service. [10 Marks]
  3. How is “Global Competition” affecting the (imports and exports) or (interdependence) of XYZ? [5 Marks]
  4. Elaborate and discuss the level of “Government Influence” in the country of headquarters of XYZ. [5 Marks]

2.Critically evaluate how globalization has affected the inequalities in various countries in the 21st century world (you may choose three or more countries around the world). [25 Marks]

  1. Create a comparison among the three countries using the determinants of inequality [10 Marks]
  2. Explain any two models from research focused on determinants of inequality. [10 Marks]
