Project management assignment

The United Way is raising awareness for Spinal Muscular Atrophy in the month of August and has contracted your firm to estimate, plan, and manage a charity golf tournament at Oswego Country Club on Saturday, August 1, 2015.

The format is a 36 team, 4 person capt. – n – crew tournament shot gun start. Please set the pricing per team accordingly. The tournament will include cart, lots of prizes, door prizes, lunch at turn, and banquet dinner. Additionally, several creative ideas are needed to raise additional capital and these ideas are welcomed by the United Way.

Using the project templates provided, the United Way would like to see project documentation and presented to them in presentation form. In addition to normal requirements the United Way requested to see not one but two schedules. The first is for the entire project from planning until the very end. The second is a one day view of the tournament that can be followed hour by hour.

Scope = Specific to key project area. Sky is the limit on creativity.
Budget = $35,000
Schedule = Tournament Date is Saturday, August 1, 2015

Goal = Raise as much capital possible for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
