Section 2: Findings \u2013 synthesis of the findings from the study backed by evidence collected through your research. The following subsection headings can be used to organize the findings.<\/p>\n

2.1: The nature and extent of the social problem \u2013 facts and stats. 2.2: Impacts of the social problem \u2013 kinds of impact, who\u2019s affected, how they are affected. 2.3: Community stakeholders in the social problem \u2013 who\u2019s got a stake and why.<\/p>\n

2.4: Strategies employed (who, what, when, how) to tackle the social problem<\/p>\n

2.5: Effectiveness of implemented strategies \u2013 of things being done, are they working, why are they working. Criteria Written Report Assessment Criteria CONTENTS: Clear outline of the issue and the community where field work was undertaken; \u2010 Evidence of understanding factors involved, both local and global that affect communities. RESEARCH: Demonstrating an understanding of the governance structures, different organisations and processes involved in the everyday life of communities; \u2010 Appropriate analysis of findings related to the topic\/issue \u2010 Formulation of sound recommendations\/suggestions to improve the situation.<\/p>\n

Evidence of working effectively as a team. \u2010 Evidence of relevant research and data\/information collecting \u2010 Evidence of the consistent and sensible linkages from different sections of the report. PRESENTATION: Technical report well written, correct \u2018report\u2019 format, proper sentence construction, grammar, spelling; \u2010 Inclusion of graphs, tables, images \u2013 properly captioned and sources cited. Good organisation of the report materials. REFERENCING: Strictly follow the School Academic Writing Guide\u2019s referencing. Section 3: Conclusions and Recommendations \u2013 this section should address the following: \u2022<\/p>\n

Use your selected analysis tool here. \u2022 Opportunities for action: what things are being done elsewhere (as found in your literature reviews) that could be done in this community. \u2022 Capacity for action: does this community have the buildable capacity to implement strategies? (review lecture content on Capacity-building) References \u2013 a full list of all sources used to generate the study Appendices \u2013 Include group charter, field work plan, updated Project Management Plan, minutes of group meetings and any other documents needed to support the final report. The appendices should be numbered, named and included in the Table of Contents. Referencing \u2013 up to 20% can be lost if referencing is not correct. Ensure that in-text citations and reference lists are correct<\/p>\n
