PART A

Zee George has been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug recently. He urgently wants to set up a business in preparation for is retirement due in a couple of years. But the big challenge is that he doesn’t have a clue what business to go into.

He shared his dilemma with John, his bosom friend. John advised he thinks of an idea based on his past life experiences and what he can do based on his talent and skill.

While meditating over the matter one night, he remembered his late mother. Zee George loved his mother so much, but he was not pleased with how she spent her days on earth.

Few years before his mother passed unto glory, he brought her to stay with his family in Lagos. His wife was not in support of the idea. He vetoed his wife and reminded her it his mother that gave birth to him that she was reacting to like that. His mother came to his home anyway.

After one of his mother’s stay with his family, George moved his mother to a relation’s home to have peace at his home. His wife nagged him to submission to send his mother away. It was pathetic. He felt bad that his own wife could treat his mother that way.

A few weeks after he relocated his mother to another home, he got a call from an old friend who lives and works in New York, USA. He told his story to his American friend who sympathized with him and advised him to set up “old people’s home” as a business. His American friend works in one of such homes in New York. He promised to assist George in setting and managing the business. He asked George to write a business plan and send it to him as soon as possible.
